Sharp has added Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic and Sharp Aquos Sense 5G to its kitty. The core highlight of the Sharp Aquos Zero smartphones is the integration of a 240Hz screen coupled with Android 11.
Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic
The Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic is equipped with a 6.4-inch OLED teardrop notch display. With a massive resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, the smartphone provides support for a 240Hz refresh rate alongside an embedded fingerprint reader. The device is resistant to water and dust via IP68 technology.
Under the hood, the Aquos Zero 5G Basic borrows power via a Snapdragon 765G processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. While the 6GB RAM model offers a 64GB storage, the 8GB RAM variant comes with 128GB storage.
Talking about the optics, the Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic carries a 48MP primary camera supported by 13.1MP wide-angle camera coupled with an 8MP telephoto lens. Interestingly, the selfie snapper offers a 16.3MP sensor, which is new to the camera segment. We have only seen whole number as camera sensors. The handset borrows power via a 4050mAh battery, which is capable of delivering 4 days of backup time. Loaded with Android 11, the Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC alongside a USB-C connector for faster charging.
Sharp Aquos Sense 5G
The Sharp Aquos Sense 5G features a 5.8-inch IGZO LCD teardrop notch display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Aquos Sensor 5G draws power via a Snapdragon 690 5G processor, 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage.
The rear side features a 12MP primary camera coupled with 12MP and 8MP secondary sensors. The front camera offers an 8MP sensor. The phone draws power via a 4570mAh battery and runs on Android 11 operating platform. The Sharp Aquos Sense 5G provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC alongside an under-screen fingerprint sensor. The addition of the USB-C port enables you to charge quickly. The phone is resistant to water and dust via IP68 technology.
