The much-awaited OPPO A79 5G has been launched. OPPO has launched A79 5G with a large 6.72-inch display and Dimensity 6020 processor in India. The smartphone offers 8GB RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. The handset is powered by a massive 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. The company claims that you can charge up to 51% in 30 minutes. Moreover, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor metallic polycarbonate texture. The phone is resistant to dust and water via IP54 technology.

OPPO A79 5G flaunts a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, up to 680 nits peak brightness, 96% NTSC color gamut, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. On the internals, the OPPO A79 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor alongside a Mali-G57 graphics card, 8GB RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable internal storage. The processor is manufactured using 7nm process, which emits low heat. The handset is pre-loaded with Color 13.1 on top of Android 13.
