Meizu has announced the launch of Meizu 16s Pro at CNY 2699 in China. The main highlight of the Meizu 16s Pro is the addition of Snapdragon 855+ processor coupled with triple rear cameras. The Meizu 16s Pro is designed using glass panels on both sides coupled with a metallic frame.
Meizu 16s Pro Display
The Meizu 16s Pro is equipped with a 6.2-inch SAMOLED FHD+ (18.6:9, 91.53% display area, 430-nits) display, Snapdragon 855+ processor, 6GB/8GB RAM alongside up to 256GB UFS 3.0 expandable internal storage.
The smartphone features a Super mTouch in-screen fingerprint scanner that is embedded in the display. The company claims that the fingerprint sensor is 25 percent responsive than previous counterparts. The handset borrows power via the powerful 3600mAh battery with support for 24W fast charging technology.
Meizu 16s Pro Camera specifications
Talking about the camera, the Meizu 16s Pro features a triple camera sensors consisting of 48MP Sony IMX586 (f/1.7 aperture) primary sensor, 20MP Sony IMX350 (f/2.4 aperture) telephoto lens and 16MP Sony IMX481 (f/2.2 aperture, 117-degree) ultrawide lens.
The camera provides support for HDR, scene recognition, portrait mode, and smart night scene. You will be able to capture 4K videos at 60fps and slow-motion recording in 480P. The front side is decorated with a 20MP sensor with AI beautification with support for face unlock. The device is pre-loaded with Flyme 8 UI based on Android 9 Pie operating platform. The Meizu 16s Pro sound segment is amplified with a 2nd generation dual super linear speaker, which delivers an enhanced sound input.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Pro variant of the Meizu 16s provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC including all standard sensors. The addition of USB-c port helps you to charge the device quickly.
Availability
The Meizu 16s Pro is available in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB and 256GB storage capacities. The 6GB RAM model with 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2699. While the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage cost CNY 2999, the 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3299. The phone is available for pre-order starting today and will ship starting August 31.
