Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 7 smartphone in China. The main highlight of the Redmi Note 7 is the addition of 48MP primary camera sensor alongside 4000mAh battery. Moreover, the display bears a water drop notch display with a dedicated fingerprint sensor on the rear.
Display
The Redmi Note 7 is equipped with a 6.3-inch FHD+ (1080×2340, 19.5:9, 450-nits) LTPS Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protected display.
Performance
On the internals, the Redmi Note 7 features a Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 graphics processor, 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM coupled with 32GB and 64GB expandable internal storage. You will be able to extend the storage up to 256GB using microSD card slot.
Camera
The Redmi Note 7 features dual camera comprising of 48MP and 5MP sensors. The camera provides support for dual-LED flash, PDAF, HDR, EIS including super night scene mode. You will be able to shoot FHD videos. On the front, the handset bears a 13MP sensor with support for AI face unlock, AI smart beauty, AI single shot blur including background blur.
Battery
The Redmi Note 7 draws power via the 4000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4 technology. The phone is capable of delivering a standby time of up to 251 hours, 23 hours talk time, 13 hours video playback. The main highlight of the phone is the addition of USB Type-C port using which you can quickly charge the device. The handset also offers support for 4G VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5 and standard sensors.
Pricing
The Redmi Note 7 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will cost CNY 999, while the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost CNY 1199. If you would like to work with 6GB RAM variant, you need to pay CNY 1399. The handset will be available for purchase starting January 15.
