Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Art Special Edition in partnership with the British Museum. The handset is available in China at a massive price of CNY 4299 and will be available in limited quantities starting May 10. The device features a laser
engraved rear coupled with a customized back cover.
On the rear side of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Art Special Edition, you will find a laser engraved black ceramic panel. The design in specially done to highlight the contribution from the British Museum. The rear side reveals an ancient design with rich tributes to art and science. Moreover, the handset has been designed using textured finish.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Art Special Edition is equipped with a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 FullView display. The pixel density of 403 PPI looks same as a 5.5-inch display but you can visualize large content. Under the hood, the Mi Mix 2S features a Snapdragon 845 processor, Adreno 630 graphics, 8GB RAM coupled with 256GB expandable internal storage.
The rear side features dual camera sensors comprising of 12MP capacities with f/1.8 aperture and f/2.4 aperture respectively. The primary camera offers a wide-angle lens with four-axis OIS, while the secondary camera comes with a telephoto lens with AI-based scene recognition capabilities.
The selfie camera ships with a 5MP sensor with support for HDR and Face Unlock support. In addition to 4G LTE, the Mi Mix 2S provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, A-GPS including USB Type-C port. The smartphone is integrated with a 3400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and Qi standard-based wireless charging.
