Vivo has launched a new budget-centric smartphone named Vivo Y53i. Touted as the successor the Vivo Y53, the Vivo Y53i features a 5-inch IPS display coupled with Snapdragon 425 processor. It is to be noted that the resolution of the display is just 960×540 pixels, which is not at par with the latest industry standards.
Vivo Y53i Specifications
Under the hood, the Y53i is equipped with a Snapdragon 425 processor, Adreno 308 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage, 2500mAh battery loaded with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Even though the specifications are low, the company has integrated 4G VoLTE support with dual SIM capability. The smartphone doesn’t provide support for fast charging.
Vivo Y53i Camera
The rear side bears an 8MP camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED Flash. On the front, the Y53i features a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The adoption of the Face Unlock technology helps you to easily unlock the device.
The phone also provides support for all major connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. However, the phone lacks fingerprint sensor, which is widely available with other competing handsets.
The Vivo Y53i will be available in Gold color variant from offline retail stores at Rs. 7990. Vivo has manufactured the handset under Make in India initiative.
