Philips has announced the launch of Philips X596 in China. Touted as a budget-friendly smartphone, the Philips X596 was recently certified by TENAA.
The Philips X596 is manufactured using the aviation grade aluminium alloy based body, which gives the handset a rugged look. Moreover, the phone is designed in such a way that it looks premium.
The Philips X596 is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D curved display. The display will be larger for web browsing and app navigation. Moreover, the addition of an FHD display helps you to read plenty of content.
Powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor, the Philips X596 smartphone is integrated with 4GB RAM alongside both 32GB and 64GB expandable internal storage. The processor runs at a clock speed of 1.4GHz, which is pretty less than other handsets. The 4GB RAM is sufficient for playing games without any lags. The storage space is comparatively large to enable you to store plenty of data without a memory card.
The highlight of Philips X596 is that both the rear and the front camera is equipped with a 16MP sensor. Furthermore, the rear camera provides support for LED Flash, autofocus including the ability to record FHD videos.
The attraction of Philips X596 is the addition of a massive 4000mAh battery with support for 9V/2A charging, which helps you to charge the handset quickly.
The fingerprint sensor is housed at the rear side below the rear camera. In addition to Wi-Fi, the smartphone also provides support for Bluetooth, GPS, and all standard sensors. Moreover, the smartphone is pre-loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat, which helps you to work with latest features such as split-screen, improved notifications and enhanced power saving capabilities via Doze.
