Motorola has officially launched Moto G 5G smartphone in India for an expensive Rs 20999. The main highlight of the Moto G 5G is the integration of a Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with a 5000mAh battery. Even though 5G technology is still in its infancy, Motorola has unveiled a future proof phone. However, you will have to wait longer for the implementation of the 5G technology in India. we expect more companies to follow suit and will launch new 5G devices.

Moto G 5G Specifications

The Moto G 5G flaunts a 6.7-inch FHD+ punch-hole display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. The display offers a 20:9 aspect ratio with HDR10 support. Under the hood, the Moto G 5G works with the help of a powerful Snapdragon 750G processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB expandable internal storage. You will be able to extend storage up to 1TB via microSD card slot. The handset is pre-loaded with Android 10 operating platform. The device borrows power via a powerful 5000mAh battery with support for 20W TurboPower charging technology. In addition to 5G, the Moto G 5G provides support for WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, headphone port coupled with USB Type-C port.

Talking about the optics, the Moto G 5G bears a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens paired with a 2MP macro sensor respectively. You will find the presence of LED Flash enclosed in the square module. The front-facing camera houses a 16MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded into the Moto logo on the rear side.

Price and Availability

Priced at Rs 20999, the Moto G 5G is available in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The smartphone will be available for sale starting December 7 in Volcanic Gray and Frosted Silver color options. As part of the launch, you will be able to avail an instant discount of Rs 1000 if you pay via HDFC bank cards. The addition of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with 5G support makes this device a real winner. With 5G technology still far away for implementation, you better need to wait till other companies launch their products.
