Xiaomi has added another variant to the already existing Redmi 9A smartphone. The new model carries a massive 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. To those unaware, the 9A model is already available in 2GB and 4GB RAM variants comprising of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage capacities.
Redmi 9A Specifications
The Redmi 9A is equipped with a 6.53-inch HD+ Dot Drop large display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. Under the hood, the handset works with the help of Helio G25 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. The handset is pre-loaded with MIUI 12 based on Android 10 operating platform. The smartphone borrows power via a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging technology.
The Redmi 9A carries a 12MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, while the selfie front bears a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Like in the case of all the smartphones, the selfie camera sensor is embedded inside the waterdrop notch display. In addition to 4G LTE, the handset provides support for Wi-Fi, micro-USB port, and a traditional headphone port. You will be able to unlock the device via AI face lock technology. Furthermore, the device is resistant to splashes via P2i coating.
Redmi 9A Pricing & Availability
The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model of the Redmi 9A is priced at CNY 999. The handset will be up for grabs in China starting September 19 via Mi.com. The company is offering the phone in Lake Green, Sand Black, and Clear Sky Blue color variants.
