HMD Global has is gearing up to launch Nokia 5.3 smartphone in India and it appears the availability of the device is imminent. According to reports, the Nokia 5.3 will launch within few days since the handset gets itself listed on the company’s website. The specifications are already available in the public domain because of the Global launch recently. We don’t have any information as to whether the Nokia 5.3 specifications will change in India.
Nokia 5.3 Specifications
The Nokia 5.3 features a 6.55-inch waterdrop notch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The notch is the containment zone for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the Nokia 5.3 is powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor coupled with 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM. We expect the availability of both 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants. The 6GB RAM will most probably ship with 128GB storage.
Talking about the optics, the Nokia 5.3 ships with a quad-camera mechanism comprising of 13MP primary sensor, 2MP depth sensor, 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor alongside a 2MP macro sensors respectively. The rear camera is housed in a circular highlighted area. The selfie camera offers an 8MP sensor housed inside the water-drop notch. IN addition to all standard connectivity features, the smartphone also includes a dedicated fingerprint sensor.

The Nokia 5.3 has been listed on the official website in India. This means that the launch date is imminent and you can expect the availability soon. There will be no launch events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The handset could launch at EUR 189, which equates to INR 16800.
