Vivo has added one more smartphone to its kitty with the launch of Vivo Y50 smartphone. The highlight of the Vivo Y50 is the integration of Snapdragon 665 processor with 128GB expandable internal storage. Let’s examine the specifications.
The Vivo Y50 is equipped with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Snapdragon 665 chipset enables you to work effectively for not only normal usage but also gaming to some extent. The handset is released in only one model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear side housed in the top-center position.
On the optics, the Vivo Y50 features a quad camera mechanism comprising of a 13MP primary, an 8MP wide-angle-lens, a 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors respectively. The selfie camera offers a 16MP sensor enclosed inside a punch-hole notch on the display. The front camera will be sufficient to capture selfies and video calls. The smartphone is pre-loaded with FunTouch OS 10 based on Android 10 operating platform.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Vivo Y50 provide support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, and other standard sensors. The inclusion of USB Type-C port enables you to quickly charge the handset. Talking about the pricing front, the Vivo Y50 is priced at INR 17990 and will be available for purchase starting June 10. The stocks will be limited because of the shut down of the factories due to COVID-19.
