Honor becomes the first company in the world to ship with body temperature functionality. However, this functionality is available only for the Pro variant. The move assumes importance with the rapid rise in the COVID-19 outbreak across the world. Moreover, the device ship with 5G support alongside dual rear cameras and 40W fast charging capabilities.

The Honor Play 4 Pro flaunts a 6.57-inch FHD+ dual punch-hole display, Kirin 990 processor, 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB internal storage. The smartphone is pre-loaded with MagicUI 3.1.0 based on Android 10 operating platform. The device borrows power via a 4200mAh battery paired with 40W fast charging technology. The integrated IR temperature sensor is capable of measuring temperature between -20-degree and 100-degree Celcius.

The Honor Play 4 Pro without temperature sensor will cost CNY 1999, which the standard Honor Play 4 will be up for grabs at CNY 1799. You will be able to buy the new devices starting June 9 in China. The company is yet to announce the exact availability of the device with temperature sensor.
