Xiaomi has reportedly started to roll out Android 10 update for the Mi A3 smartphone for the fourth time. You should note that Xioami had rolled back the update thrice after the initial push previously because of several problems. The Reddit users claim that they are indeed receiving a minor update for the Mi A3 handset. The fingerprint recognition has been improved and the EIS is back. However, the update is different from the previous builds with only 32MB capacity. If you look at the previous update, it measured over 1.33GB capacity. Moreover, the update was plagued with several problems.

The Mi A3 latest update provides support for dark theme, gesture navigation, and privacy controls. You should only download the update via Wi-Fi. However, the latest update is only 32.69MB is size and you can make use of the mobile data as well.

There is no need to charge the device up to 100 percent because the capacity of the update is less. Based on the past track record, it is advisable to capture backup of your data before proceeding to initiate the update process.

The Mi A3 features a 6.09-inch Super AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Mi A3 is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset, Adreno 610 graphics processor loaded with Android 9 Pie based on Android One. The smartphone is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM comprising of 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. The 4GB RAM model is available in both 64GB and 128GB storage, while the 6GB RAM model is only available in 128GB storage model.

On the optics, the Mi A3 offers a triple camera comprising of 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. The selfie camera offers a 32MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture with support for HDR. You will be able to shoot FHD video at 30fps. The smartphone borrows power via a 4030mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology.
