Honor has announced the launch of Honor 30 smartphone in China starting at CNY 2999 for the 6GB RAM variant. The new handset will be available for purchase starting April 21. While the rear side comes with a surprisingly quad-camera mechanism, the selfie segment offers a single camera. However, the capacity of the primary camera is 40MP and not 48MP as in standard devices.

Honor 30 specifications

The Honor 30 flaunts a 6.53-inch FHD+ hole-punch display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. On the internals, the smartphone draws power via a Kirin 985 chipset. The Honor 30 is available in 6GB, 8GB RAM models consisting of 128GB and 256GB RAM variants. The 6GB RAM model offers 128GB internal storage, while the 8GB RAM variant is available in both 128GB and 256GB storage capacities. The device is pre-loaded with Magic UI 3.1.1 based on Android 10 operating platform.

The rear side features quad camera comprising of 40MP (f/1.8) primary camera, 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle camera, 8MP (f/3.4) telephoto camera alongside a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera. It’s interesting to note that the handset comes with 40MP instead of the traditional 48MP sensor in the competing devices. Moreover, the telephoto lens provides support for 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom capabilities using which you can capture stunning long-distance objects. The front camera includes a 32MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Honor 30 draws adequate battery power via a 4000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. You will be able to charge quickly via the fast charging technology. You need not have to worry about eye care because the phone is TUV Rheinland certified, which protects your eyes to a great extent.

Honor 30 Price & Availability

The Honor 30 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2999, while the 8GB RAM model with 128GB is up for grabs at CNY 3499. The 8GB RAM option with 256GB storage will cost your pockets CNY 3499. You will be able to purchase Honor 30 smartphone in Magic Night Black, Wizard of Oz, Titanium Empty Silver, and Neon Purple color variants starting April 21.
