Asus has launched the much-awaited Asus ZenFone Max M2 smartphone in India. The company has promised new features and specifications on the new handset. The main attraction of the Asus ZenFone Max M2 is the addition of a massive battery, which is capable of delivering an extended standby time.
The Asus ZenFone Max M2 is equipped with a 6.26-inch HD+ notch display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. Even though the screen size is large, the paltry resolution is a big downgrade. The notch is designed to accommodate all sensors, selfie camera including the earphone.
Under the hood, the ZenFone Max M2 is integrated with a Snapdragon 632 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM coupled with 32GB and 64GB expandable internal storage. The chipset is clocked at a speed of 1.8GHz, which is moderate for running apps and games. A powerful 4000mAh battery supplies the required power to run the device. Asus has bundled a 10W power adapter along with the package.
While the rear side offers dual camera comprising of 13MP and 2MP sensors, the front-facing camera bears an 8MP sensor. The secondary camera located on the rear is the depth-sensing camera coupled with LED Flash. Moreover, the camera sensor also provides support for a 4K resolution.
In addition to all standard connectivity features and sensors, the Asus ZenFone Max M2 also provides support for fingerprint and Face Unlock technologies. The handset is pre-loaded with stock Android 8.1 Oreo operating platform. The phone also ships with a five-magnet speaker and low-distortion NXP smart amplifier for immersive entertainment. According to company sources, the new chipset is not only power efficient but also provide a smooth and responsive experience without sacrificing battery life.

The 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant of the Asus ZenFone Max M2 is available for Rs 9999, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model is priced at Rs 11999. You will be able to purchase starting from December 20, 2018. Flipkart is also offering an instant discount on select bank cards and no cost EMI via Bajaj Finance. The retailer also providers complete mobile protection at only Rs 99 instead of the retail value of Rs 599.
