Google recently launched the next-generation Android 9 Pie at the Google I/O developers conference. The new operating platform will be available on all the Pixel devices and will hit the smartphones manufactured by OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, Sony, Xiaomi, Essential and Nokia among others. The company also announced the launch of Android 9 Pie Go Edition exclusively designed for budget smartphones. Here is the list of smartphones that will most likely receive Android Pie.

  • Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL
  • Nexus 6P and Nexus 5 (Not Expected)
  • Essential PH-1
  • OnePlus 6, OnePlus 2, OnePlus X, OnePlus 3, OnePlus One, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T
  • Nokia smartphones
  • Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 8, Nokia 7 Plus
  • Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play, Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z2 Force, Moto X4, Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 Plus
  • HTC U12+, HTC U11+, HTC U11, HTC U11 Life
  • Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, Honor 10, Honor View 10 and Honor Play

We expect more companies to push Android Pie update within the next few months. You can expect Android Pie for the emerging brand Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro smartphones.
