Samsung has announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy A8 Star smartphone at Rs 34990. Touted as Amazon Exclusive, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is equipped with a 6.28-inch SAMOLED display coupled with Snapdragon 660 processor. Moreover, the handset is integrated with dual rear cameras with support for Samsung Pay.


The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a 6.28-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. The resolution of 2220×1080 pixels will help you to visualize stunning images and videos. The large display helps you to navigate ebooks without any strain.


Under the hood, the Galaxy A8 Star is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 graphics, 64GB LPDDR4X storage loaded with Samsung Experience 9.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo platform. The advantage of the device is that you can extend the storage up to 256GB.


The rear side features dual camera comprising of 16MP primary and 24MP secondary sensors respectively. The camera is exclusively designed in such way that it automatically optimizes the settings as per the ambient lighting conditions. Moreover, the sensors are accompanied by an LED Flash. The selfie camera offers a 24MP sensor paired with a f/2.0 aperture with support for AR stickers, smart beauty, and pro lighting.

Powered by a 3700mAh battery, the Galaxy A8 Star provides support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth including GPS. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor and face unlock functionality. The handset will be available on Amazon starting August 27 for Rs 34990.
