With just a few days after the official release, Samsung has released an update for the Samsung Galaxy Note9 smartphone. The latest update is being released via OTA and should hit the devices within the next few days. The reports suggest that the update is available to customers to North America and we don’t have any information as to when the update will roll out to International version.
With software version N960FXXU1ARH5, Samsung has added a new toggle option in the Super Slow-mo camera mode. You will be able to record both 0.2-second and 0.4-second moments with the help of moments mode. You should download the update as soon as you receive the Samsung Galaxy Note9 handset.
You will receive an automated message notification when the update is available. The About Phone option inside Settings should be checked to verify the presence of the update. You should also activate Wi-Fi and charge the smartphone up to 100 percent before proceeding to download the update.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a 6.4-inch (1440 x 2960, 18.5:9, 516PPI) Super AMOLED display, Exynos 9810/Snapdragon 845 processor, Mali-G72 MP18/Adreno 630 graphics processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/512GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo.
The rear side bears dual camera comprising of 12MP sensors respectively with support for PDAF, OIS in addition to LED Flash and HDR. The front camera offers an 8MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture an autofocus support. The handset is powered by a 4000mAh battery, which is capable of delivering an extended standby time.
