Meizu 16 And Meizu 16 Plus Launched: Everything You Need To Know
Meizu has announced the launch of Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus with an 18:9 display and in-display fingerprint sensors. The main attraction of the Meizu 16 series is the integration of a Snapdragon 845 processor and up to 8GB RAM. Meizu has integrated an advanced thermal management functionality with a custom copper cooling tube.

The Meizu 16 is equipped with a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display bears a pixel density of 402PPI, which is sufficient for normal activities. Under the hood, the Meizu 16 is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and Adreno 630 graphics.
While the 6GB RAM model features a 64GB internal storage, the 8GB model comprises of a 128GB storage. Unlike other handsets, you won’t be able to extend the storage. The rear camera features dual camera sensors consisting of 12MP and 20MP sensors, while the front-facing camera bears a 20MP sensor. A 3010mAh battery supplies the required power to the device.

Meizu 16 Plus
The Meizu 16 Plus features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 2160×1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Even though the display is large, the pixel density is less at 374PPI. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and Adreno 630 graphics loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo operating platform.
The 6GB RAM model will ship with 128GB storage, while the 8GB RAM variant will be equipped with a 256GB storage. On the rear, you will view dual camera sensors comprising of 20MP and 12MP sensors with LED Flash. The front camera comes with a 20MP sensor. The handset is pre-loaded with 3640mAh battery, which will be capable of delivering an extended standby time.
The newly launched handsets provide support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS including USB Type-C port. The phone also includes an integrated fingerprint sensor and will be loaded with Flyme OS on top of Android 8.0 Oreo operating platform.
