Samsung Galaxy On6 With Exynos 7870 processor Launched: Features, Specifications and Price
Samsung has officially launched the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy On6 smartphone with Exynos 7870 processor in India at Rs 14490. The company announced that the handset will be made available via Flipkart and official Samsung Online store from July 5. As part of the launch offer, Samsung is offering a protection plan for Rs 49 with no cost SMI options.
Display
The Samsung Galaxy On6 is equipped with a 5.6-inch HD+ SAMOLED display with a pixel density of 293 PPI. The 18.5:9 aspect ratio display infused with the handset is similar to that of the high-end Samsung Galaxy S8 series.
Performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy On6 is powered by an Exynos 7870 processor, Mali T830 MP1 graphics, 4GB RAM coupled with 32GB expandable internal storage. You will be able to extend the storage up to 256GB. The handset is pre-loaded with Samsung Experience UX on top of Android 8.0 Oreo operating platform. The chipset will run at a clock speed of 1.6GHz, which is sufficient for running plenty of apps. The handset draws power via n embedded 3000mAh battery.
Camera
The rear side features a 13MP sensor with support for LED Flash, HDR, panorama, animated GIF, beauty face including face detection. On the front, the phone bears an 8MP sensor with LED Flash with face unlock capability. You will be able to use your face to unlock the handset.
Connectivity
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Samsung Galaxy On6 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS in addition to a traditional headphone port. The device includes a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy On6 will be available via Flipkart starting July 5 at a cost of Rs 14490. It is to be noted that the price of the phone is Rs 15490 but Flipkart is offering a discount of Rs 1000. The home-grown company is also providing complete mobile protection for Rs 49 with no cost EMI from Rs 1610 per month. Moreover, Samsung is offering cashback worth Rs 2750 in partnership with Reliance Jio.
