HTC pushes software update for the HTC U12+ with improvements

HTC has rolled out a fresh software update for the HTC U12+ smartphone in the US. If you are located in the US and work with HTC U12+ handset, you should check for the presence of the update. You will view a message notification when the update is available for your device. Alternatively, you can check for the presence of the update by tapping Settings menu.

The newly released update for the HTC U12+ smartphone provides support for auto zoom capability for video recording. Moreover, you can record 4K videos at 30fps without any time limit.

The company has added enhancements to pressure-sensitive buttons. Moreover, the battery life has been enhanced with an overall improvement in the system performance. HTC has also integrated June Android security update with the latest software bits.

Before proceeding to download the update it is advisable to activate Wi-Fi to avoid interruptions. However, if you have access to an unlimited 4G network, you can try downloading the update.

The company has categorically revealed that the update won’t delete any of the existing data. Hence, you can safely proceed to download the update. Last but not the least, you should completely charge the handset before attempting to download the update. If your handset has 20 percent charge, you can proceed but the device should be connected to the AC power source.
