Xiaomi is scheduled to launch Mi A2 smartphone in India on August 8. There are rumors that the company will unveil Mi Band 3 also along with the Mi A2. It is to be noted that the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite are launched in Madrid, Spain with dual rear cameras, AI portrait mode loaded with Android One operating platform.
We don’t have any information as to when Xiaomi will launch Lite version in India but the arrival of the Mi A2 is definitely on the cards. The tech bloggers have confirmed that Lite won’t be launched in India.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 is equipped with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB expandable internal storage loaded with MIUI 9.5 based on Android One. The phone draws power via the integrated 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The rear side features dual camera sensors comprising of 20MP and 12MP sensors with f/1.75 aperture respectively. The front-facing camera carries a 20MP sensor with soft light LED flash coupled with AI scene detection capabilities.
The phone provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, GPS including USB Type-C port. You will find a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The interesting point to note is that Xiaomi has eliminated the headphone port to pave way for USB Type-C audio.
Talking about the pricing, the default model with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage will be most likely priced at Rs 19999. The 64GB storage model will cost Rs 23000, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will cost Rs 350.
