Asus recently released the budget-friendly Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone with latest features and specifications. The handset was shipped pre-loaded with Android Oreo. However, you can now install Android P by following a few simple steps.
According to reports, an unofficial port of the Android P Developer Preview 3 is available for the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone. You should note that the preview release will have few bugs and hence you should backup all the files before proceeding to install the update. The steps to install Android P is not easy and it involves few technicalities. You will be able to install Android P update quickly after the company rolls out the global update via OTA.
The first step is to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP. Moreover, you should capture a complete backup of all your existing files including images, videos, and contacts. The second step is to boot into the recovery mode and delete all the sections labeled system, data, cache, cache / davlik cache, and internal storage. You can boot into the recovery mode by holding the power and volume down button at the same time.
To install the new firmware, you should click on Install img option to fetch GSI in the form of the img file. You should select System Image option after this process. As soon as the GSI is installed, you should navigate to the Mounting section and select the options named System, Data, and Vendor.
You should reinstall if the options are already checked. The Mounting process should be repeated if you have downloaded the files POST GSI 1, 2 and 3 respectively. You will be able to install Android P Developer Preview 3 on the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone.

The rear side features dual camera sensors comprising of 13MP and 5MP sensors with support for PDAF and LED Flash. However, the 6GB model will ship with a 16MP and 5MP sensors. On the front, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone offers an 8MP sensor and 16MP for the 6GB RAM model. You can shoot FHD videos at 30fps and 60fps respectively.
