BlackBerry has launched BlackBerry KEY2 smartphone with Snapdragon 660 processor and dual cameras on the rear. Priced at $649, the BlackBerry KEY2 is integrated with a dedicated physical keyboard.

The company has reportedly increased the keyboard length by 20 percent without sacrificing accuracy and comfort. The keys are arranged in a free pattern with a matte finish. The phone is manufactured using 7000 series Aluminum frame.

Display

The BlackBerry KEY2 is equipped with a 4.5-inch IPS Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected display with a resolution of 1620×1080 pixels and 3:2 aspect ratio. The pixel density of 434PPI helps you to view content clearly.

Performance

Under the hood, the BlackBerry KEY2 is integrated with a Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 graphics, 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB and 128GB expandable internal storage capacities. You will be able to extend the storage up to 256GB. While the first four cores run at 2.2GHz, the next set of four cores are clocked a 1.8GHz.

Camera

The rear side features dual rear camera comprising 12MP primary and secondary sensors comprising f/1.8 and f/2.6 aperture respectively. The camera also provides support for PDAF, HDR, panorama including portrait mode. It is possible to capture 4K videos at 30fps. On the front, the handset offers an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture with LED FLash and FHD video recording capabilities.

Battery

Powered by a 3500mAh battery, the BlackBerry KEY2 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, NFC, FM Radio including traditional headphone port. The battery is embedded with QuickCharge 3.0 support, which enables you to charge the device quickly. The phone is accompanied by a dual Nano SIM card slots coupled with a highly sensitive fingerprint sensor.

Price

The BlackBerry KEY2 is priced at $649, which equates to Rs 43840. The handset will be available within the next few days across all retail stores.
