Amazon has announced that OnePlus 6 has become the highest selling smartphone in terms of revenue, on any single day on its e-commerce platform. The newly launched smartphone achieved the feat during the Amazon Prime Members only sale on May 21, 2018. The company sources revealed that the Amazon Prime customers have strong affinity over OnePlus smartphone.
The strong consumer excitement translated into blockbuster sales on the launch day. Moreover, OnePlus 6 has become the highest revenue grossing smartphone in the launch week on Amazon India.
According to reports, OnePlus 6 clocked approximately 3M pre-launch ‘Notify Me’ registrations on Amazon India. The smartphone has beaten the record previously held by OnePlus 5T within 10 minutes of launch. The smartphone has witnessed a 3X jump in sales when compared with OnePlus 5T is just four days.
