Realme 1 has been launched in India with trending specifications at a budget-friendly price in Diamond Black, Moonlight Silver, and Solar Red color variants. If you are unaware, Realme is the sub-brand of Oppo and Realme 1 is the first smartphone to launch under this category. Touted as Amazon Exclusive, the smartphone is manufactured with a glossy diamond-cut design under the Make in India initiative.
Specifications
The Realme 1 features a 6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels coupled with 84.75 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the Realme 1 is integrated with MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 3GB/6GB RAM, 32GB/128GB expandable internal storage loaded with ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The chipset is embedded with AI technology.
Camera
The rear side features a 13MP sensor with LED Flash, while the front-facing camera offers an 8MP sensor. Realme has borrowed Oppo’s AI Beauty 2.0 functionality, which enables you to beautify the selfies with 296-point facial recognition. Moreover, you can also make use of AR stickers not only for the rear but also for the front camera.
Advanced features
The addition of Face Unlock helps you to easily unlock the smartphone within 0.1 seconds. Interestingly, the handset doesn’t ship with a fingerprint sensor. It is possible to extend the storage using microSD card. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Realme 1 also provides support for all major connectivity features.
Pricing
Talking about the pricing, you will have to pay Rs 8990 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model. While the 4GB RAM with 64GB STorage will cost Rs 10990, the 6GB RAM will cost Rs 13990 with 128GB storage. The 6GB RAM model of the smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon India on May 25. You will be able to buy 3GB and 4GB RAM models within few days.
