Panasonic has launched a budget-friendly smartphone named Panasonic P101 in India ar Rs 6999. The smartphone is equipped with a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio coupled alongside the 8MP rear camera. The display is protected by 2.5D curved glass, which is capable of resisting scratches.
On the internals, the Panasonic P101 features MediaTek MT6737 processor, Mali T720 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat. The addition of Android Nougat will help users to work with split-screen functionality, enhanced Doze mode, and improved battery life.
The rear side offers an 8MP sensor with support for autofocus and LED Flash, while the selfie camera bears a 5MP sensor with LED Flash. The device is integrated with a 2500mAh battery, which will deliver a backup of over two days upon normal usage.
Responding to media, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India disclosed that the company is currently focussing on 18:9 aspect ratio FullView display smartphones based on the growing trend. The newly launched Panasonic P101 is the second smartphone to with FullView display and is available at an affordable price tag.
