Panasonic has added one more smartphone to its kitty named Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 in Blue, Black, and Gold. The main highlight of the Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 is the addition of a full display with 18:9 aspect ratio coupled with Arbo virtual assistant identical to that of Google Assistant. The handset will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting April 5.
The Arbo virtual assistant integrated with the Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 make use of artificial intelligence, which enables you to learn and track daily activity patterns. In addition to smart lock, the Eluga Ray 500 provides support for trusted voice and fingerprint sensor.
Commenting on the development, Pankaj Rana, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India disclosed that they are making a big plunge into the Big View Display segment. The main purpose of the launch is to enhance the viewing experience of customers and also to provide a device with a pleasing display. Rana added that the company is fully committed to manufacturing innovative products with trending technologies.
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 is equipped with a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Eluga Ray 550 features a MediaTek MT6737 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. A 3250mAh battery supplies the required power to the device.
While the rear side features a 13MP sensor with LED Flash, the front-facing camera ships with an 8MP camera with support for LED Flash. In addition to Wi-Fi, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 also provides support for Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, and all standard sensors.
The device bears a thickness of more than 8mm, which is on a high side. The handset will be available on Flipkart from April 5 and you will be able to avail discounts in the form of cash backs, exchange offers and bank offers.
