Xiaomi has announced the rollout of MIUI 12.5 Developer Version for 28 smartphones. The list includes Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Mi 10 Youth Edition, and Mi 11. MIUI 12.5 has introduced new animations and improved privacy controls. The new update will also be made available to Mi 9, Mi 9 Pro, Mi 9 Transparent Exclusive Edition, Mi 9SE, Mi CC9 Pro, Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition.
According to Xiaomi, the MIUI 12.5 Developer Edition will also be made available to the following devices

After the initial testing, the stable push of MIUI 12.5 will start by the end of April 2021 or early May 2021. The update will be initially available for users based in China followed by a global rollout. The MIUI 12.5 comes with lower power and memory consumption including optimization of system apps and enhanced graphics rendering. The update also brings in animated Super Wallpapers such as Geometry and Snow Mountain. If any of the apps attempts to access clipboard data, then the MIUI 12.5 will issue an alert. You will also work with updated Notes and Mi Browser with the ability to share approximate location instead of exact location.
