Xiaomi is scheduled to conduct a launch event in Madrid, Spain on July 24. The official Spanish Mi Community forum doesn’t reveal the name of the smartphone being released but it gives a hint that you can experience the latest Xiaomi device.
If you attend the event, you will be able to know the features, specifications and price of the new handset. Xiaomi will also provide a free Incredible gift for all people attending the event. The post provides a link where you can register for the event from July 11 to July 18.
There are strict conditions that you need to provide a valid reason for cancellation. If you are unable to provide any reason, you will be prohibited from attending any event in future. Moreover, participants should manage their own transportation and accommodation expenses.
Although the Mi community post doesn’t reveal the name of the device, rumors suggest that it could be Mi A2. The main highlight of the Mi a2 will be the addition of Android One based on Stock Android. Under the hood, the Mi A2 will ship with a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage powered by a 4000mAh battery.
Expected to be tagged as a budget-friendly smartphone, the Mi A2 will feature dual camera sensors with 12MP and 20MP sensors with AI-enabled capabilities. The company will also bring in more than 200 scene recognition modes. The phone will be most likely available in three color variants.
