WhatsApp is reportedly gearing up to launch multi-device support, which enables you to work with one account on multiple devices. The reports suggest that the WhatsApp beta update displays a new log out option, which indicates the imminent rollout of the multi-device support. After the rollout of the new feature, you will be able to work with one account on multiple devices simultaneously.
The WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.21.30.16 includes a new Log Out functionality. You will be able to logout from a wide range of connected devices. The new Log Out module replaces the “Delete Account” option on the linked devices. As per reports, the Facebook-owned messaging tool is working to provide support for up to four devices for one WhatsApp account. This could change when the company rolls out the final version.
For example, if you have WhatsApp account in one smartphone, you can use the same credentials to work with the messaging tool on another device after logging out from the first device. The company disclosed that they have tested this module for both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business accounts successfully. The multi-device support is currently available for WhatsApp beta for iOS and not for public beta users. We expect the new feature to be made available on Android within the next few days.
