Vivo is gearing up to launch Vivo X21 UD smartphone on May 29. The company has already mailed media invites for the launch. It is to be noted that the handset has been already launched in China in March followed by selected International markets. The rumor assumes significance with the presence of a big “X”, which gives an impression that the upcoming device will be Vivo X21.
The main attraction of the Vivo X21 UD is the integration of under display fingerprint sensor. You won’t find the presence of a physical home button. To unlock the device, you just need to touch a circular on-screen fingerprint prompt.
On the specifications front, the Vivo X21 UD features a 6.28-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 graphics, 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable (up to 256GB) internal storage loaded with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. A powerful 3200mAh battery supplies adequate power with fast charging technology.
The rear side is equipped with dual camera sensors comprising of 12MP (f/1.8 aperture) and 5MP (f/2.4 aperture) sensors respectively. The selfie camera bears a 12MP sensor with support for IR fill light, 3D mapping, and Face Wake facial recognition technology. In addition to 4G LTE, the Vivo X21 UD provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS including sensors such as fingerprint, gravity, proximity and ambient light.
