Samsung has started the development of One UI 2.5 for the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 smartphones. According to Samsung Community moderator based in Soth Korea, the company has already started the One UI 2.5 development work for Galaxy S9 and Note 9 devices. A Samsung representative had claimed that the software development work has started but he declined to provide an estimated timeline of the arrival of the One UI 2.5 operating platform.
Samsung is reportedly working to finalize the list of features that will be included with One UI 2.5 for the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 devices. There are reports that the Korean company will not include few features due to compatibility issues. The One UI for the Galaxy S9 won’t be robust as we seen before but the company will trim features. However, you can expect interesting features such as Wireless DevX, Enhance pro video mode including the ability to change Singler Take duration.
The list of devices that are rumored to receive the One UI 2.5 update is Galaxy S20 Trio, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 Duo.
The new platform will be initially made available in a phased manner followed by a Global push after addressing the feedback. The features will be trimmed because of the internals but you can expect rich features and improvements. You should always make use of Wi-Fi to download One UI 2.5 and charge the devices completely before proceeding to download the update.
