Nubia has launched the Nubia Red Magic smartphone with Snapdragon 835 processor and enhanced air-cooling technology. The gaming mode helps the device to optimize performance in addition to disabling of notifications. The smartphone also comes with a 16.8 million color RGB LED panel at the rear. The handset is designed using an aviation-grade aluminum alloy manufactured using a diamond-cut surface.
The Nubia Red Magic features a 6-inch FHD+ LTSP display with 85 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the Red Magic is equipped with a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. You will work with the Nubia Red Magic OS, which is same as the MIUI 9.
While the rear camera offers a 24MP ISOCELL image sensor, the front-facing camera bears an 8MP sensor with support for BSI. The rear camera features a f/1.7 aperture paired with a 6-piece motor driven lens, the selfie camera includes a 76-degree wide-angle lens paired with f/21.0 aperture.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Nubia Red Magic also provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS including a traditional headphone port. The device also includes a wide range of sensors such as ambient light and proximity. The 3800mAh battery is integrated with NeoPower 3.0 and Nubia fast charging capabilities. The audio performance has been improved with the addition of a TAS2555 amplifier alongside DTS Audio.
The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model of the Nubia Red Magic will cost CNY 2499, while the premium 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will cost CNY 2999. You can pre-order the phone and will be available for sale starting April 25.
