Huawei has added one more smartphone to its kitty with the launch of Huawei P40 Lite 5G smartphone. The main highlight of the Huawei P40 Lite is the integration of 5G support, which makes it future proof. Moreover, the device is well supported by Kirin 820 processor coupled with a 64MP primary camera aligned vertically. The handset is currently available in Europe and is expected to touch other regions within the next few days.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G Specifications
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G boasts a 6.5-inch FHD+ punch-hole display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone works with the help of HiSilicon Kirin 820 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage. You will be able to extend the storage up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. The phone is available only in 6GB RAM model and is preloaded with EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10.
On the optics, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G carries a quad-camera setup comprising of a 64MP (f/1.8 aperture) primary camera alongside an 8MP (f/2.4 aperture) ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) macro and 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensors respectively. The front-facing camera offers a 16MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The sensors are aligned vertically and are placed on the top left corner of the rear panel.
Power-wise, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G works under a 4000mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology. The device provides support for 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC including a traditional headphone port. The addition of the USB Type-C port enables you to charge the phone quickly. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the side panel and it measures 189 grams in weight.

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G will be available in Europe at EUR 399 starting May 28. As part of the launch offer, the company is offering Huawei FreeBuds 3i for all customers who pre-order the device now. If you are unaware, the P40 Lite 5G is currently available for pre-order in Space Silver, Crush Green and Midnight Black color variants.
