Asus India has rolled out Android 9.0 Pie update for the premium Asus ZenFine 5Z smartphone. After the installation of the Android 9.0 Pie update, you will be able to work with contextual pop-up volume bar, a new Magnifier, which enables you to easily copy and paste content.
In a statement released to the press, the company revealed that the Android 9.0 Pie update will roll out via FOTA in batches. Hence, it will take a few days for the update to hit your smartphones. You will view a notification on the notification bar prompting you to update the software. You just need to tap on the notification to download the update.
After the completion of the download process, the system will display a pop-up notification to install the update. The Install option should be selected to start the installation. The Asus ZenFone 5Z will reboot several times during the course of the update process. The company has warned users against switching off the handset and you should wait until the home screen appears.
As mentioned above, the update message notification will be displayed. If you are unable o view the notification, you should wait for the next few days. Alternatively, you can check the presence of the update by tapping Settings | System | System Updates menu.
