iQOO has announced the launch of iQOO U3 smartphone starting at CNY 1498. The main highlight of the iQOO U3 is the addition of 8GB RAM coupled with 48MP primary camera and 5000mAh battery. The U3 model is regarded as a budget-friendly 5G smartphone. The handset has been launched in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants comprising 128GB internal storage.
iQOO U3 Specifications
The iQOO U3 flaunts a 6.58-inch IPS waterdrop notch FDH+ display with a resolution of 2408×1080 pixels and a 20.7:9 aspect ratio. With a 401PPI pixel density, the U3 handset offers a refresh rate of 90Hz with support for HDR10 technology. On the internals, the iQOO U3 works with the help of a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, which is more or less identical to that of the Snapdragon 765G series. The device is available in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants consisting of 128GB internal storage.
Talking about the optics, the iQOO U3 comprises a 48MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. As of this writing, we don’t have any information about the capacity of the front-facing camera but we expect atleast 16MP AI-enabled sensor. The smartphone borrows power via a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W dual-engine fast charging technology. The phone will provide support for all connectivity and standard sensors just in the case of the previous devices.
Pricing
iQOO is well-known for their aggressive pricing. The iQOO U3 is rumored to launch in India before the end of Q1 2021. If you look at the Chinese pricing, the U3 will have a hot price tag of under Rs 15000. If the company releases the phone below Rs 15000, then it will be a big win for customers since they can experience the quality of a premium smartphone at a budget-friendly price.
