Xiaomi has started to roll out MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update for users working with Redmi 6 Pro. According to reports, the Redmi 6 Pro has started to receive MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update based on Android 8.1 Oreo via OTA. Hence, it will take a few days for the software bits to hit your smartphone.

After the installation of the update, you will be able to enjoy full-screen experience alongside refreshed UI and natural sound system. The company has integrated Ai pre-loading in addition to portrait mode for the selfie camera. You will also be able to work with revamped clock, notes, and other related system apps.

With build number MIUI V10.0.1.0.0DMMIFH, the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update will be pushed via OTA. Before proceeding to install the update, you should activate Wi-Fi and charge the handset up to 100 percent.

The size of the update will be on a higher side and hence you should completely charge the device. If the charge is less than 60 percent, then you should connect the device to the AC power adapter.

If the update is available, you will view a notification on the screen. Alternatively, you can manually verify the existence of the update by tapping Settings | About phone | System updates | Check for updates option.

To recall, the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update was made available to 21 smartphones including Redmi 5A. The company also pushed Android Pie based MIUI 10 Open Beta update for the recently released Poco F1 smartphone.
