Vivo has launched the budget-friendly Vivo Y83 smartphone in India. Mahesh telecom revealed the news on Twitter with the image and pricing of the phone. According to the tweet, the Vivo Y83 will be equipped with a 6.2-inch notch display and will cost Rs 14990. Moreover, the handset features Helio P22 processor with 4GB RAM including Face Unlock technology.
The main highlight of the Vivo Y83 is the integration of a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520×720) 2.5D curved glass IPS display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch will be placed on the top of the front side. The new aspect ratio helps you to experience stunning visuals.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y83 is powered by an Helio P22 processor, IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics, 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating platform. The phone draws power via the embedded 3260mAh battery.

The chipset is manufactured based on 12nm technology, which ensures low heat without sacrificing performance. You will be able to extend the storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
While the rear side features a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash, the front camera features an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The phone also offers a fingerprint sensor on the rear. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Vivo Y83 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and GLONASS. It also offers support for all standard sensors. Priced at Rs 14990, the Vivo Y83 smartphone will be available in Black color variant across all offline stores.
