OnePlus 3 and 3T gets better with Face Unlock via OxygenOS 5.0.3 update

OnePlus has rolled out a wide range of new features including Face Unlock for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. The smartphones have pushed the updates via OxygenOS 5.0.3 with significant features such as Face Unlock. You will be able to easily unlock the smartphone after the installation of OxygenOS 5.0.3 update.

After the installation of the OxygenOS 5.0.3 update, you will be able to work with refined user interface and newly designed app shortcuts. You will view plenty of options if you long press an icon. The Gallery section displays a map view of the images captured by location including the addition of the Recently Deleted collection using which you can bring back deleted images.

In addition to OxygenOS 5.0.3 release, the new update also includes May 2018 Android Security patch referred to as 2018.5 including FaceUnlock. The update refreshes File Manager and adds Large Files category. The update has adjusted refresh interval for providing weather update.

Like in the case of all other updates, the OxygenOS 5.0.3 is being rolled out via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your devices. If you are eligible, you will view an update message notification.

Alternatively, you can manually verify the presence of the update by tapping Settings | About | System Updates option. The company revealed the update is being pushed in an incremental manner followed by a wide launch after few days.
