Moto E5 leaked image hints at the absence of physical home button
  • PublishedJanuary 17, 2018

The renders of the upcoming Moto E5 smartphone reveals the presence of the rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The main attraction of the leaked image of Moto E5 is the absence of physical home button. According to MySmartPrice, the Moto E5 is equipped with a same metal unibody design when compared with the previous counterpart.

The physical home button will be replaced by Motorola branding logo. Moreover, the smartphone makes use of on-screen buttons for navigational purposes. Even though the rumored Moto E5 does not ship with a physical home button, the device will most likely bear a conventional display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone will also carry a fingerprint sensor in a circular shape and is placed below the rear camera sensor. On the rear, you will find a large protruding camera unit with LED flash. Like in the case of all other smartphones, the volume control keys are placed on the right side coupled with the power button. The phone will also provide support for fast charging due to the inclusion of a USB Type-C port.

According to rumors, the smartphone is expected to hit the retail shelves on April 3 along with the Moto E5 Plus and Play. The price of the device will be below $150.
