Lava Z50 has been launched pre-loaded with Android Oreo (Go edition) at a budget-friendly price of Rs. 2400. Tagged under “Mera Pehla Smartphone” program by Airtel, the newly launched Lava Z50 will be available for purchase via 100,000 retail stores and online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal. Even though the price is Rs. 2400, you will have to pay Rs. 4400 because Airtel is offering a cashback of Rs. 2000.

Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Nigam, Head – Product, Lava International revealed that the company is delighted to launch the Lava Z50, which is India’s first Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone. the cashback offer will surely attract upcoming smartphone buyers and will also provide the best technology at the competitive prices.

On the specifications front, the Lava Z50 Android Oreo (Go Edition) features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854) 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass display, MediaTek MT6737m processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable internal storage powered by a 2000mAh battery.

The rear side is equipped with a 5MP sensor, while the front-facing camera also offers a similar capacity with support for LED Flash. The Bokeh mode helps you to blue the background. The camera also offers a wide range of features such as face beauty, HDR, super night, panorama, GIF mode including intelligent selfie, sound picture and child mode.

The Lava Z50 Android Oreo (Go Edition) provides support for all major sensors and connectivity features alongside a super power saver mode. the thickness is on a larger side with 9mm and measures 140 grams in weight.

To take advantage of Rs. 2000 cashback, you need to recharge with a minimum amount of Rs. 3500 for the first 18 months and Rs. 3500 for the remaining 19-36 months. As part of the launch offer, Lava is offering a one-time screen replacement but it should be availed within one year from the purchase date.
